We bought a new house around this time last year and I’ve never been happier. There were a lot of things to do before we moved in but aside from packing, we couldn’t have cared less! We set up most of the utilities ahead of time including electric and Wireless Internetwhich was good since we didn’t have time to deal with it on move in day.

So far we’ve done a lot of minor improvements on the house including putting in an electric fence for a new dog. Once we have our first child we’ll have to turn the guest room into a nursery but for now it’s just got a futon and a desk to do work at home.

The kitchen still needs some TLC and we’re preparing to t! ake down the wallpaper and paint the cabinets one weekend soon.
